1. Who this covers

This policy is for 69.studio, operated by Johnny Outlaw LLC. It covers the website and the listening app. Paid plans and takedowns sit on the terms page; this page is only about personal data.

2. What we collect

If you just browse and listen. The player keeps your queue, resume positions, playback speed, and preferred media type in your browser’s local storage. Theme preference lives there too. That data stays on your device unless you sign in.

We also record basic page analytics: the path you visited, the referring site, a random session id stored in your browser, device type, browser, operating system, IP address, and a city and country derived from that IP. Separately, when you play an episode we record which episode, how far you got, whether you finished, device and browser details, and a country code from our host. Play rows do not store your IP.

If you sign in with Google. Google hands us your account email, display name, and profile photo. We use the email as your identity on the site: resume and playlists across devices, show preferences, premium access when a host has granted it, and the name on a show you operate. Sign-in is handled by Supabase Auth; we do not see or store your Google password.

If a show puts you on a member list. A host can grant premium access by email. That email is stored against the show so we know which premium episodes to unlock when you sign in.

If you write to us. The podcasters contact form sends your name, email, and message to us by email. We keep what we need to reply.

If you link Patreon. When you connect a Patreon account, we store OAuth tokens and membership status so we can unlock episodes your hosts mark as premium. We do not get your Patreon password. Creators who connect a campaign store the campaign id so listener pledges can be checked against it.

3. What we use it for

Running the product: playing shows, remembering where you left off, unlocking premium episodes you are entitled to, letting hosts manage their shows, answering messages, and understanding how the site is used so we can keep it working.

We do not sell personal data. We do not run third-party advertising on show pages. We do not market to a show’s listener list; that list belongs to the host.

4. Who else sees it

The service runs on infrastructure we do not own. The usual ones:

• Vercel hosts the site and sees the request data any web host sees.
• Supabase stores account sessions and the application database.
• Google is the sign-in provider you choose when you connect an account.
• YouTube serves embedded video when you watch rather than listen. Their player is subject to Google’s own terms and privacy policy.
• Resend delivers contact-form email when you write to us from the site.
• A small owner-device script from outlawdata.com helps us tell our own traffic apart from everyone else’s on an internal dashboard. It does not change what you see.

Show hosts see listen and sponsor numbers for their own show. They do not get your raw IP or a dump of your account.

5. How long we keep it

Browser local storage lasts until you clear it or we change the keys. Analytics and play rows are kept for as long as they are useful for running and reporting on the service. Account data lasts for as long as your account does. Contact messages last for as long as we need them to reply and keep a record of the conversation.

If you cancel a paid plan, we hold your show’s content and settings for 90 days and then delete them, as described in the terms.

6. Your choices

You can use most of the site without signing in. You can clear local storage in your browser at any time. You can sign out. You can ask us to delete your account data by emailing support@69.studio. Hosts can revoke a premium grant they added by email. Blocking third-party scripts in your browser will stop some analytics and embedded players from loading; the rest of the page still works.

7. Children

69.studio is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you think we have, tell us and we will delete it.

8. Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top of this page. If you have a paid plan and the change affects how we handle your listeners’ data in a material way, we will tell you before it takes effect.
